3.1 AcknowledgementsWarsawPakt relies heavily on gstreamer, and the glib, gtk, gnet, etc. libraries. While the GObject model may take some time to get used to, these libraries are excellent pieces of work. My deep respect goes to all who contributed to these fine free software projects (or all the others i use). Development on Pakt wouldn't have been possible without the active help and feedback from a lot of people. Thousand thanks go to: heimie, martin, pzem, max for active usage; klosh, powl, the other homies @ subsignal.org for general geekdom; zeljko, marcel, gamba, aco, ana, lina and the peoples at and around mama.mi2.hr for the sunshine; nick, mom&dad for familyhood and funding; uli, mark, le m, mr. kelim and horst for guesswhat; isabelle, maia, maia, aida for the dances; BUW's StuKo for funding subsignal, and anyone i might have forgotten now for whatever you did. Just stating your names does not reflect your contribution to this project anyway. Oh, and thanks, sylvi, for understanding my need to code :). The name "Warsaw Pakt" came up as a counterrevolution to the highly proprietary set of MAX/MSP video plugins called NATO. It has evolved over what it originally was supposed to be, but the name stuck. |
